Yeah my mom can take care of her but I'll feel bad leaving her here but then if I stay I'll feel bad that my husband will go by himself that's why I'm still not sure, if you don't mind me asking what state are you going from?

Hi, I just wanted to share my experience. I brought my mom from Peru so she could watch my 2 children while I went over there for my husband's interview. In my case, it was the best decision. At the beginning, I did not feel ok leaving my children but then I thought I would feel worst not supporting my husband. To make things better, I traveled on March 14th all day long, stayed one night in Peru, attended to the interview, and I came back on March 15th night. So, literally I did not see my children two days and one night. I hope this helps.

Hey everyone, it has been a while since I got on this, and I'm still waiting for my wife to have her interview on April 18th in Paris.

I've noticed some people talking about biometrics, and others are not even mentioning it. I might be wrong, but I'm getting a feeling that biometrics only apply for certain countries and embassies. For example: when I looked at Mumbai's embassy in travel.state.gov, biometrics are on the checklist, but when I looked on the checklist for Paris, biometrics are not mentioned. Can anybody clarify? especially anyone who has a case pending in Western Europe or Canada, thank you.

Good luck

Thanks for the reply.Had gone through ur timeline too.Im also from Kerala & awaiting for interview on Apr 23rd@Mumbai.Eventhough they didnt  ask for any photos, just wanted to know - did u take wedding album or just couple of wedding photo prints? I heard that that Consulate officer interview glass cabin  has small window & it will be difficult to handover/display big bulky hardcopy wedding album, incase they asked for wedding album.

2 days isn't bad but the appointment in Juárez is longer since they have to see a doctor one day and get their fingerprints taken another day all aside from the actual day of the appointment and then we're not sure yet if he's going to have to go all the way to where he's from to get a paper he needs and that'll make it even more days. It's too complicated for me to handle lol 😭 I mean if I didn't have my baby I wouldn't think twice and just go for as long as it was needed but yeah 🙃

I totally understand, every case is different. I only wanted to give you a piece of advice. My husband went by himself to do everything that he needed to go before the interview (about 2.5 weeks before). I only went for the interview day. I wish you the best!! Good luck with everything.

GUYS ANYONE KNOWS WHAT I SHOULD ANSWER TO THE FOLLOWING QUESTION ? IS YOUR SPOUSE IMMIGRATING WITH YOU TO THE US ?

If your spouse is the petitioner then your answer is N/A because that question does not apply to you. But if your spouse is leaving from your country with you as an immigrant then your answer would be yes your spouse would be immigrating with you

Yes , my spouse is the petitioner, since there isn’t option for N/A then our answer should be NO .

Thank you very much .
