can anyone advise what number to call to get the interview date? Any instruction calling NVC would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Below is NVC's contact information. I always dial the 603-334-0700 and can get through with an agent with no trouble. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to speak with a nice & understanding agent, so good luck!

How long did it take NVC to mail your package to the embassy after getting an interview date?

NVC ----> In Transit?

Anyone, somebody?

I received the P4 two days ago!!!  yaaay!! but I have a question though, and I believe it is relevant for all of us going into April/May:

So my wife has her interview on April 18th, which is literally one day after the tax return deadline for this year. Even though the joint sponsor and myself did not have any change in our income, will my wife need the new tax return transcripts for her interview? Maybe I should call NVC and ask.

Thanks

My husband's interview is on April 18th too! Best of luck :) I'm wondering the same thing about tax returns

I'm thinking about sending her the new transcripts anyways, just in case. The only problem is that I have not filed my taxes yet, and I dont know if the joint sponsor has either.

Hi, I was told that if it's after the due date, then you are expected to bring the updated tax information. My interview is after the due date but my husband will not get a chance to file taxes before because he is extremely busy and he is self-employed, so he has requested an extension. I hope this will be Ok.

I think that would be the safe thing to do, I'd rather send too much than be missing something

I think that in your case you will need your husband to provide you with the extension proof.

Hello every one

my spouse is the petitioner PD 04/19/2016

Documents sent on 01/08/2018

Case Complete on 02/17/2018 but there is missing w2 form for the joint sponsor NVC asks to bring it to the Interview.

P4 received  on 03/03/2018

Interview Date  04/09/2018 in Abu dhabi

The joint sponsor cant provide W2 form, so we had to replace him with another one recently.

my question is; will that affect my case ? and any advice for the interview in other words what should expect and what should i bring to the interview.

Cheers

Today was our interview at Islamabad. I think this was one of the most stressful days of my life. We did get pulled into a private interview room separately after our first initial interview but the CO was very friendly and nice and respectful to both of us. I was interviewed first and basically was asked questions about his family, why didn’t they come to the wedding, was my family supportive of our relationship and my converting to Islam. Did he speak to my daughter, asked about her biological father. Next was my husband and basically asked the same questions. What is my daughter’s favorite video game? About my sisters and my work. Also asked him if I do have the occasional glass of wine and what he thought about that. After all of that my husband came out and said we were approved but he just has to send in the correct size passport photos. So we did get the white sheet but only thing marked on it was photos for my husband. The CO told him as soon as they get the photos they will start processing his visa. Checked our status and it still says ready as of right now.

Congrats!!!
