Hello all,

So our fingerprints were accepted on July/2017 and online stats says " ready to be scheduled for an interview" since that time. It has been 9 months since we applied, almost 8 months since the fingerprints acknowledgment.

My question is this a normal time, are they running behind in Los Angeles? I contacted USCIS by email and they replied that the case was not assigned as of yet. Do I need to contact my congressman or just wait? Anyone else has the same issue or timeline?

Are you on Los Angeles office? Because I see that a lot of people who files back on October got already their interview date. On the USCIS page it says that they are processing people from April 2017 but that was "processing as of 31 December 2017" so it's a little bit outdated.

K1 Visa Process

Nov. 2016 - Applied for K1 Visa
Nov. 2016 - NOA1

April 2017 - NOA2 (6 months!)

May 2017 - Arrived to Embassy

May 2017 - Got Package 3

May 2017- Got Package 4

May 2017 - Interview [APPROVED!]

June 2017 - Visa arrived home

June 2017 - Made it to the US. Finally with my future hubby!!

Thank you, I just sent an email to my congressman. Hope I can hear something soon.
