I mean waiting this longer and then getting denied will be so painful... Does meeting 3 times will make any sense

 I understand.

The more meetings you have in person is always the better, and yes it can help but it's still no guarantee, as I'm sure you already know.

And you would still have to get past the issue of your parents not knowing/approving....is she of Indian descent as well?  Is her family aware she is engaged to you?

You can certainly try---and no one is saying you're facing an automatic denial either....best of luck.

More meetings can definately be beneficial either K-1 or CR-1 routes... but again you still need to address a bit of the family situation I think.

AL-MJD gave some good tips.. maybe involve brothers/sisters and close friends at least if you don't wish to involve your parents.

@Dinesh332This will definitely help you as well. Affidavits from friends/family are basically letters from people close to you and her who are aware and support your relationship with your girlfriend.

In the end, there is really no fool-proof way to get an approval or the eventual Visa. You just have to do ALL you can do. As many things as possible, to prove that you and your girlfriend are serious and the relationship is genuine. If you think the proofs you gathered are enough, gather MORE! If God wills, you will find a way to be with her.

Don't lose hope.

Signed letters from your siblings, your good friends, your mutual friends with your girlfriend, your girlfriend's family, etc, that states they are aware and support your relationship.

Letter that go like... for example, okay. This example legit has nothing real on it:

To whomever it concerns,

1. I, Andri L. Jacobs, am a citizen of Singapore with the national resident identification number of S000000Z. I reside at (address) and was born in Singapore on 7th July 1987. I am writing this affidavit to share my personal knowledge of the facts set forth herein.

2. I am a close personal friend of Tony Stark for 6 years. I am aware that he is applying for a K1 Visa (case number: __________).

3. Tony Stark met his fiancé, Pepper Potts, two years ago, on 21st January 2016 on Facebook. Tony immediately took a liking to Pepper (I know how ridiculous this sounds, sorry, I'm super terrible at examples, please bear with me) and started a long distance relationship. Tony became inseparable from his phone ever since and would text Pepper everyday. One year later, on 22nd January 2017, Tony proposed to Pepper when Pepper visited Tony in Singapore. He tells me many times that he is unhappy with the timezone difference and wishes he could speak with Pepper more often but understand she needs to sleep.

4. I am truly happy that they are getting married soon and look forward to attending their wedding reception in Pepper's hometown of New York City, New York.

5. I declare all information written true to the best of my knowledge.

Yours sincerely,

(signature)

Andri L. Jacobs

I'm agreeing strongly with everything @Going through and @AL-MJD are saying here. Some of the best proof of your relationship will be proof of your in-person visits: boarding passes, hotel receipts, stamps in your passports. That kind of thing.

One note: since you don't have parental approval, it could be more difficult to go the K1 route. If you're traveling or spending time in person together by yourselves before marriage and without chaperones, that could look sketchy to the Indian CO. The CR1 may be the wiser choice...

Actually in  my RFE i had to prove (by driving 10 hours to my mom for an  affadivat ) that i has told my mother i was going to marry and i am well over the age of deciding my own life and i am the USC

as for the rings     i would not show photos of exchanging rings /  looks like marriage and you are doing K1 financee

why not just tell them/ let the sparks fly/ you are their child and when you are ready to have children,  most of this will be forgiven

people seem to mellow when grandchilren are there

as for the age 10 years is not that much / we have the big age difference

as for the other above muslim woman / if the man is not muslim (by Islam rules) she is suppose to marry only a muslim man so interviewing in a muslim country this may be an issue

good luck to you both

allah yessir

You have to tell the truth no matter what. A relationship is between two people and no one else. Having said that, some countries do have a problem with family not knowing or not approving the relationship. If you are coming from a high fraud country, that is gonna be an issue to the embassy so you must find a way to make everything good and right. Unfortunately if there is one thing we have learned about this immigration process is you can no longer be as private as you want about your relationship. Everything about the two of you goes under a microscope. It might be difficult telling your family, but you might just have to. You’re both adults, you love each other, no one dictates your life but you two.
