Hello house, i need a professional input on this. i am from Nigeria. I applied for student visa in July and December last year (2017)for MBA but was denied.

I am married with 2kids(twins ) 5 years. me and my wife work in a financial institution in Nigeria with good pay.

We are trying to apply for B2 family visa by April

My question is this

1. is it okey to make my wife principal applicant since i have apply for f1 before and been denied but my wife and the kids has never apply before.

2. What is the probability of getting the visa

3. general advise

1. Not sure what you mean by 'principal' applicant. You both make seperate applications.

2. Low.

3. You sound desperate to get to the US one way or another.

Your wife is allowed to apply, if that is what you mean.  Your denials in the past will have no effect on her application.

Very low unless you can show proof that you, her, and the kids will return to Nigeria.  You have to show strong ties to your home country.  Since you would all be travelling to the US together, and come from a high fraud country, it will be more difficult for you to prove this as the officer will assume you have immigrant intent as a family.

Based on your denial in July 2017, and then your denial in December 2017, you should think about whether it's worth it to apply again if your personal circumstances have not changed at all since then.  And I agree with the above poster, applying multiple times in a short span makes you look desperate to enter the USA by any means and would most likely lead to a 3rd denial for you.
