I just realized my 5 year visa is about to expire. I called the Vietnam Embassy in Vietnam almost everyday for the past two weeks and never get a real life person to answer, and their voicemail is completely full.

My question is: How much is the application fee if I am requesting it stateside and sending my forms to Washington DC?

The one time I did get someone to pickup the lady was very cold and not helpful. She told me she couldn't help me. Im stuck. Does anyone have any information? I have emailed them too (it's really weird they have a gmail.com address) and also have not received any reply. It's been quite the stressful experience dealing with the Vietnam Embassy in DC. I'm glad they don't handle any K1/CR paperwork, it would never get done!

Last month my little sister pay $50 for 5 year VN visa(multi entry). She do it with the booking agent.

Thanks HT. Im completing the form and sending it in myself. http://mienthithucvk.mofa.gov.vn this is the official government website.

They said to call and ask how much the fee was. I have heard 70$, I have heard 10$ and now I've heard 50$.

It's a simple question with a more than simple answer, the people at the embassy just won't pick up the phone!!

My documents are all ready to be shipped out to Washington DC, I Just need to write the check for the correct amount!

$70 first time and $60 2nd time - mind you this was 2014 so unsure if they change their rates.

email them and ask 1 question and only one question.  I find if you ask many Questions only 1 is ever answered.

Hi All,  So me and my wife are still in the AOS stage, but would like to go back to Vietnam later this year.  I assume that mean I qualify for this as the spouse of a national.  Is is recommended I go through the SF consulate or pay extra through a visa service?  I'm in no immediate rush either way as we still need to wait for her green card.  Thanks!

Turn around is very quick. I dropped off at the consulate and it was back within a week. Great service though email/phone inquiries is super difficult.
