Hi there. For those filers whose case got transferred to the local office, if you had ever changed your address in the past.. will you see the status saying your address change service request was completed on case history when you use your NOA1 receipt # to check for an online update???

For me, nothing poped up there BUT I did see a similar filer has following status saying -> SR is assigned to an office -> SR is completed -> We sent a response for your COA SR....

No I don't see any update on my online account.

Ok.. That's what I saw from the other thread... take a look at the bottom left corner... For me, it is blank there.

It is blank unless you create an account with them that you log into. I just made an account (make sure you log in, it doesn't do it automatically) and it shows the change of address history correctly. Before, it was blank as you say.

I logged in, clicked on I-751 case but still doesn't show me address change history.

Make sure you are using the receipt number from the extension letter, not the second one from biometrics. It only works for one of the receipt numbers for me, maybe try both #s.

Edit: Are you trying to check whether your address change went through? We received a letter in the mail confirming the change at the new address about a week after doing it online.

I am using the receipt number from extension letter I 797 form. When I added a case with that number it showed up as Form i-751 and when I added receipt number from biometrics notice it showed up as CRI-89. I-751one shows case received at local office without any case history.

Did you ever get mail at the new address from them to confirm the change? If not, it may not have gone through... you might need to do it again, or call them? Otherwise I'm not sure why it doesn't show up, sorry. :(

I changed my address online and I only received email confirmation for it. I called USCIS regarding that and they confirmed my new address and said that email confirmation is sufficient.

I guess because there was no paper trail, they didn't put it in your case history. We received 2 letters and email confirmation, and that's in my history. At least it's confirmed for you!

Im not a case transfer, however I did change my address and not online, I did it manually and received letters to confirm this. They did not update my status, they havent for my approval, my address change, or anything. However, when I received my approval letter on Saturday it came via mail to the new address. When I had to make an address change for AOS (I didnt move they just inputted it in wrong to their computer) I rang the USCIS and spoke to a Tier 2 who changed my address, this was reflected in my case update. I assume that it really depends on how busy they are, whether its done by the field office and the service centre. No consistency, but at least they are consistent about not being consistent! : LMAO! :)
