Hi everyone!

I have two years green card will expire on may/18 , and week ago I sent my documents to the immigration for removal cc! And I got a case number already! And I got a letter from the immigration that says they received the i-175 fee !!! And they give me one more year to stay until they finish working on my case ! And to be honest I don’t understand everything and I don’t know how long the process takes !

so I’m divorced  filing separate I-175

so I need to travel to Jordan on March ? Do You guys think im gonna be okay or is there any risk if I travel out of US ? and will I have any problems entering the US ? I have my busines here and apt and a lot stuff here so I’m just trying to be in the safe side ! Any advice will be appreciated !

if there is anyone have similar case and situation please tell me about your experience and how was it when u enter the US again at the airport and the immigration was easy ?

thank you so much guys

First, it’s I-751, just to be clear, not 715. You may have a problem, but not about reentering the US, specifically.

The problem is that your application isn’t complete until you complete your biometrics appointment, which might be scheduled while you’re away. You can reschedule the appointment but if you don’t get the notice because you’re away, and you miss your appointment your application will likely be denied.

Assuming you have someone checking your mail and you can contact USCIS to reschedule your appointment if they schedule it while you’re away, you should be fine.

Of course, you can’t be gone for more than 6mo, and a reschedule of your appointment will slow down the already glacial process of your I-751 (they seem to be taking at least a year to process and mine’s taken 18mo already), but you should be ok to come back to the US with your passport, green card and extension letter. That’s what it’s for.
