Thats unfortunate. Sorry to hear that.. Hopefully they schedule one real soon.

So I just wanted to document what happened after this to help anyone else in the same predicament. I got an info pass and went and saw an officer the week after my original interview date. I asked her what happened and mildly protested that I was never asked to bring along my wife. She explained that both petitions have to be adjudicated simultaneously as N-400 cannot be approved with I-751 pending while there is nothing stopping me from filing N-400 while I-751 is pending. She was very kind and said I can see that a reschedule has not been requested, let me request it for you. If you have not gotten a date by mid Jan come in and see us. In hindsight this appears is key. An interview reschedule has to be requested. by the time i came out of the office I got a text message saying your interview (original one) was canceled. and then thank God yesterday I got an text saying I have been scheduled and this morning the letter was uploaded - its on Feb 4th. So hopefully smooth sailing from now on. So from what the lady told me rescheduling request is the key as it gets you back in the line. You do not get into the line till such a request is made. So if for any reason your interview has to be rescheduled make sure you get an info pass to take care of it and make sure you get a notification that your original interview was canceled.

I am still waiting to be sworn in, I applied in May 2017.

My I-751 was approved early December, and I am now just waiting to get an oath date. Hopefully it is within the next few days...

Just to close the loop on this... I had my second rescheduled interview today WITH my wife and two kids and both my I-751 and N-400 was approved on the spot. It was extremely painless. The officer was really nice and she apologized to my wife that she had to come so early with two kids but she needed her there for the I-751 approval. Anyways she didn't want to see a thing. Just asked the civics test, the reading and written stuff and then asked a few of those yes or no questions and we were done! So now wait foe the oath ceremony

Thanks for the update! My wife and I had our combo interview on Jan 24 at Orlando office with a very friendly officer as well, she approved our cases verbally and told us she would try to close both I-751 and N400 by end of the same day or the following week at the maximum.

Still by now the status hasn't changed yet, I know it's not a lot of time, but given what the officer had told us (and given that Orlando office typically gives oath notices at the same day), it seems it's taking longer than expected. I'm wondering if we should schedule InfoPass or send a service request to try to get the file to move again. I am just worried that the file was pushed back due to volume and its causing unnecessary delay.

Hello Sorry to hear about that... I would definitely get an infopass. When I had to reschedule my interview that helped so much as once the file is in the Orlando office, they know exactly what is going on it appears. In fact the day I got an info pass someone before me had some delay and the infopass officer went behind and brought the case officer out. Did you get a notice saying you are in line for oath ceremony? I didn't get a same day letter today.

Ok I think I will give it a try and let you know if it helps, thanks for the info! We didn't get a notice for in-line for oath ceremony, the N400 status still says "Interview Was Scheduled" and I-751 still says "Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction". The only paper we were given was that my wife passed the tests and that a "decision cannot be made", but she assured us multiple times that she will either close it at the same day or next week. Did your cases status change at all or not yet?

Sorry this may not be what you want to hear but yes my status changed yesterday saying it was approved and I was in line for oath. This morning I got a text saying my ceremony letter was mailed. If you want to get an infopass appointment in a hurry and not wait for the two week thing here is a link with some tips on getting an appointment.  I have used it to get appointments fairly quickly. Thanks

it looks like it is about the same time. The letter is not uploaded yet. The lady did say it will likely be next week.

I had my N-400 interview today with pending I-751, when I got there they promptly called my at my scheduled time, I took my spouse with me since I had the I-751 pending and I actually wanted to go in with him since I was very nervous, when the AO called me I asked him if I could take my spouse with me and he said no because the N-400 interview is just for the applicant and then I went by myself with him, he was very nice tho, I was worried because I have heard you have to take your spouse with you, I answered everything correctly and he was very concerned about all my international trips, he asked for my selective service card, I passed all the questions 6 correct straight, then he said your application has been approved in the following weeks you will be getting a letter with instructions for your ceremony, then I asked about my pending I-751 and he said that since i submitted so much evidence (the file was on top of his desk and it was huge) he said he had enough info to just approve me and I brought in my spouse with me and he saw him, so I was actually surprised about that, he said I might get a green card in the mail and that I needed to return that green card. He said once again congratulations, so it was super smooth and I am very exited. While I was typing this I received a case statues update that my I-751 was approved and card was being produced so I will have to return it as he said.

Do you know your oath ceremony date already? I was approved today and I am showing "Oath ceremony will be scheduled".

Completed interview today. The guy was very through and it took about 25 minutes.

The first thing he did was have me raise my right hand and swear that I would tell the truth.

Then he took electronic prints of my left and right index fingers.

Asked me 6 questions and I got them all right.

Who is the VP?

Who was the president during WWI?

What is an amendment?

What is the supreme law of the land?

What does freedom of religion mean?

What is the capital of the USA?

He didn't ask about or look at any of the original documents I brought with me. All he looked at was my green card.

He asked me my full address and how long I had lived there.

He asked if I had left the country this year.

He asked me what my husband's full name is and his birthday.

He asked about past marriages both mine and my husbands, including ex's names.

He asked me every question in part 12.

He had me read a sentence on a tablet.

He had me write "Citizen's can vote" on the tablet with my finger.

He had me sign my application.

After he told me I had passed, he asked me to wait back in the waiting area for a letter. In about 15 minutes, I received a letter with the date of my oath, that is only 5 days from now on Tuesday 02/12/2019.
