What do I do first???

Seems like there are quite a few steps and the embassy and NVC miss parts out.... so I have managed to figure out the following and just want to check I am correct?

  • Wait for the letter from embassy / ring up the Embassy to confirm they have my packet? My CEAC status is set to Ready which I believe means they have it?
  • Fill out and submit the DS-160 Form?
  • Schedule the medical @ approved surgery?
  • Then I apply for the interview at the embassy via this link?

It's all a bit confusing because the UK Embassy says this, and the NVC says that.... and I was under the impression you couldn't book the medical until you had an interview scheduled?

Call the NVC and get your case number. Then call knightsbridge and give them your case number and book the medical.

Fill in the DS160.

Book interview.

If your case says ready then you can do all of this now. Just be sure to leave 5 days minimum between medical and interview.

London has it all laid out for you on their website.  Find the part that says Step 1, Step 2.... and follow it....1 through 4. . Read the other links at the top of this link about Medical, documents, interview, etc.

Start here https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-the-visa/

Do not follow what people from other countries say. Each embassy does it differently.
