what would you do if you had married in your finance country and then filed the I-130 instead of I-129F and your waiting well over a year, closer to 14-15 months to see your spouse get here...what would you think then?

I don’t have to think about that because i have applied for K1 visa fyi if it’s with you 14-15 months then i guess totally a different scenario and check different forums for your case .

i have enough material to think about for my K1 visa

I don’t quite understand what you mean?

  90 days and above?

this whole 90 day thing means that the visa is valid for 90 days, within you have to get married and AOS

but they won’t approve the petition in 90 days!

no,  the visa itself is only good the day you enter the US / it is a one time entry visa

you have then,  as mentioned above ,  90 dys to get married

it is not a visa approved in 90 days / taking about a year now for K1 finance and over 14 months for spouse

both are only good for 1 time entry / anyone leaving the US before EAD (finance) or green card (spouse) would have to go thru the process again

I know this!

isn’t that basically what I said?!

I’m sorry i didn’t say it even clearer that the visa is valid 90 days after entry but still...basically what I said!
