oh no, my husband came when he was 16 or 17 got detain until an adult came to get him out. since that age he has not gone back to mexico. his now 28 but he only remembers signing a paper but doesn't know what it was. his 601A got approved so we are just waiting for his appt at ciudad juarez but suddenly i got scare for him that he needs to exit. thats why i was wondering how safe it is ones your 601A has been approved.

He may have a problem because most times when people EWI as unaccompanied minor years back they are released to an adult family member here in the U.S

The adult is supposed to bring them periodically to check in with USCIS until a decision is made but i guess they didn't do that..... so he may face additional issues. But hopefully the approved I-601a will solve that.
