I read so many articles about what  Case Was Received At My Local Office  . It looks like it does not mean that we might have an interview soon . As I see some people get approved even after they got this notice . So what this note mean ??? Is local office means they change the center ?

It doesn't mean anything important; you can basically ignore that message. It just means your file moved within the service center you sent it to (let's say from one room to another room). Has nothing to do with interviews or your approval.

Yes it does. My brother,  October 2017 filler, just had his interview, and his case was transferred to a local office in February 2018.

Ok, I am not talking about transfers, I am talking about "received" at local office. For hundreds (if not thousands) of other people, the "received" at local office has not done anything - especially not interviews. Too many people have been spreading this false information. You can check in this thread and the regular filer threads for proof.

Your brother's case must be an outlier because no one on VisaJourney who filed in October 2017 has been interviewed/approved yet. Unless you meant October 2016, in which case it was a coincidence with the regular processing time.

Yes, you can. As long as you meet the three year requirement as a permanent resident married to a US citizen. I filed for ROC on March 2017 and submitted N-400 about a month ago. They did my Biometrics last week and now I'm waiting for both cases. Also, I made Infopass for the I-551 stamp. The officer told me that my I-751 hasn't been adjudicated yet (so, keep waiting) and that since now I have two cases pending, the N-400 "might delay" the I-751 "a bit". I'm not saying it would be the same for you or anyone else, but I'm just letting you know that if you get an infopass after applying for naturalization, that might be one of the possible answers they will give you. Finally, she stamped my passport with the I-551 for one year "since the I-751 should be done in about a year".

Again, yes, you can apply. Just check out the requirements for N-400 on their website to be sure that you're eligible. Also, If you apply online, the system will ask you some questions to tell you if you're eligible. Then, it will let you fill the application or it will tell you that you shouldn't do it.

what is your NOA? this notice is same mine. I'm May filer VSC. nearly waiting 13 months, still "On April 9,.........."

I will file N400 in Aug without regard to I751. It's so frustrating with the way of DHS working.
