If the interview is a mandatory ,why they want you to send as much as you can documents about the bona-fed marriage , if there is nothing official say every one will get an interview , I will not buy it even if it is coming form an officer ..

They want you to send all the documents for AOS as well, where the interviews are happening for the majority of fillers. This is because they pre review your case before you come in and it makes perfect sense. I doubt about interviews for every single ROC application simple because it would take years to wait in line to be scheduled. A lot of local offices extremely backlogged dealing within n400 and AOS, not to add roc to it like a cherry at the top of the pie.

Time is a luxury they have.

My case is still pending. October 17th, 2016 filer. On their website it says they are processing cases from October 19th 2016 and I already send out a request. Anybody has an idea of why so many cases after my file date got approved or at least an RFE and my case is still in the same place?

I've read in another forum that they might schedule interviews for people who didn't hear back yet.

You should have definitely heard back by now. I filed in November and the senators office in my area said if I don't have an update by May 30th, then they will personally call and do in inquiry on my case with California since its outside of normal processing, if I file in November and I will be out of processing time May 30th, then you should have been out of processing time at the end of April. Call your senators office and have them look into it. If you want any tips, feel free to reach out to me personally, I am always glad to help out.

Yes, was done in November 2016. Since then I didn't receive anything. All cases before me or even after me got at least approved or any kind of notice

Dont feel bad. I am also in the same boat. Waiting till end of the month. If nothing happens I am pursue more actively. But you should at least get an InfoPass appointment and find  at your local office. And like many other suggested get your senators involved.

I had an info pass appointment today to get a one year extension. All went easy. I asked if he knows what it means that the update says that the case was received at my local office. He said he doesn't know why it says that, and he said that my case is still at VSC. Also, he mentioned that all applicants that applied for removal of conditions after May 2017, will have an interview that is mandatory now.

Not sure what to believe, not much you can do other than waiting.

Did you get fingerprinted or your photo taken for your I 551 stamp? My husband got his today and he got fingerprinted and photoed. I had never heard that was part of the process.
