The Tier 1's you speak to when calling the hotline are basically reading a script, no help at all.

May 2017 CSC filer here, just wasted a bunch of time with tier 1 and tier 2, then also tier 2's supervisor (or so they claimed) and from what I was told, file is still at CSC despite the I-751 online update of transfer to local office.  "According to their system" - no change.  It appears to be some type of massive glitch.

@Derwood This is the second person today to say Tier 2 told them this is a glitch

it could be glitch or perhaps they did transfer cases to local office since on Dec, 2017 when I created a service request, CSC had responded that they are committed to increasing applications and will try to improve in future. And if you notice recently (from last week), CSC has not approved any applications beyond Sept 22, 2016 which could be because they transfer most of the applications to local office after that date. And some of the tier officer has also confirmed that to clear the backlog of especially CSC, they have been transferring to local offices.

Thanks for the update, I am a sept 2017 filer and this gives me a hope of the process to expedite, did she confirm that all this is to remove the backlogs and not a glitch ?

Could be, honestly, I don't think there is anything happening, they can't get their stuff together so I don't know how all of the sudden thousands of cases will start flying cross-country lol but anything is possible, I suppose....

I spoke to three different people on the phone and they were all pretty adamant that the file is still at CSC.  Second person even told me that it went from CSC to Virginia (NOT my homestate) then back to CSC in an attempt to speed it up  Maybe he meant Vermont, not Virginia, who knows, I'm mostly upset because I wasted tons of time on the phone and was a little shaken up after all of this lol but at this moment in time, I am not holding my breath on any speedier of an outcome.

If this is a glitch, how do you explain the person on this thread that got their visa approved after a few days their application got transferred? I don't believe this is a glitch.

If its indeed in local office, youll be processed after N400 and AOS cases, usually they have a day or two a month (!)  to go over ROC interviews. Fingers crossed for a glitch

Well for one, I believe s/he was at VSC I believe, so their timing is a little faster, plus s/he is the only one so far out of many many others... so coincidences do happen in life :)
