Wait until midnight-4am and get onto the USCIS website to schedule an infopass appointment at our local USCIS. Bring your expiring  extension letter and your  green card. Ask for an i-551 stamp in your passport.

Thank you for your reply. Should I do it now or I have some time to wait?

You can do this now, since it's not so easy to find available date to schedule, it will show you two weeks ahead available dates if they have any open. Usually they advise to go get your stamp one month or at least one week before your letter will expire.

ROC -"CSC"

Package sent: 07/31/17

Hi!

I have the same status "Case Was Received At My Local Office on 02/27/2018". Did anyone already get their interview?

I have been interviewed by many jobs, but nobody wanted to process an expired ID/Green Card, even with the extension letter.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Not everyone who received that status goes to an interview. A lot of people have gotten approval after they got that status change.

you can check on the app to see if people around your receipt number are getting approved.

Pauline was talking about interview for job; not interview at USCIS.

I have a similar dilemma.   Late october, early november 2016 filer here - i 551 extension expiring on June 19th, 2018 and am amidst job interviews.   Wondering if I should get an extension again or should I wait for the adjudication of my removal of conditions if it is really imminent.   Case number is 17040******.   Status still shows On February 26, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC17040*****, at your local office.   Any advice would be appreciated based on your experience.

Check after midnight (Eastern Time) to see new appointments being released (usually for a day that is two weeks out), or around 7.30/8am for same day cancellations. It usually works for me.
