Interesting, it looks like it's 2017 filers that are getting physical letters regarding transfers?
I'm a December 2016 filer and as of yet have received no physical letter in the mail regarding a transfer, just the typical online status we're all getting.

I'm Feb 2017 filer and no letter, but I have a N400 pending.

Case Processing Times

We are testing a new method to calculate processing times for Forms I-90, I-485, I-751, and N-400. With this method, we can post processing times that are more accurate, timely, and easier to understand.

What do the processing times mean?

Example Time Range

We now show case processing times as a range. The first number is the time it takes to complete 50% of cases (the median). The second number is the time it takes to complete 93% of cases.

For non-pilot forms, we will continue to use our old method to calculate processing times, but will add an upper limit that is generally 130% of the processing time.

We calculate processing times by using historical data of completed cases. We cannot project how long it will take to complete a case filed today.

Quote

so this does not mean that we might have same processing timelines for our cases

What I get from this is that USCIS now has an excuse to process cases at even slower rates.

You're right about this. The older processing times were already at October 2016 the current ones only allow you to file an inquire for outside of processing times if the date of filing is after August 2016! They have gotten worse!

If you think it is worse then see pictures below. They have added processing time for local field office which seems ridiculously off and erroneous (god knows which field offices they are referring??). I don't know what to even say...

Removal of Conditions
09/06/2016 Sent I-751 package to CSC

09/09/2016 USCIS received package
09/13/2016 Check cleared
09/15/2016 NOA1 hard copy. Date 09/09/2016

04/11/2018 Combo interview with N-400

05/10/2018 I-751 approved!

Since all this hubbub has been going on, we've gotten:

DHS.gov page - a notice both February 25th and 26th regarding the i-751

Regular .gov page- a noticed on March 5th regarding the i-751

In my husband's email- an email generated from dhs.gov on both March 12th and today March 22nd that says they are reviewing on his case.

We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time

We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on June 15, 2017.

This is the most activity we've seen, especially in the email. Has anybody received more than one notice in the email, so close together, recently?

that is just an inactivity notification which is automatically generated, you can go to your account and turn it off if you feel annoyed by that notice
