I still didn't hear back from them. It's been 15 days now that they updated my case that it was received at the local office. I'm a October 2016 filer from LA.

This really takes forever and I'm wondering when I will hear from them again. Ugh

Wow image me and others who file in march last yr, maybe i should seriously consider finishing N400 and submite it

Interesting, it looks like it's 2017 filers that are getting physical letters regarding transfers?
I'm a December 2016 filer and as of yet have received no physical letter in the mail regarding a transfer, just the typical online status we're all getting.

Maybe, I don't know. Im October 2017 filer and I have not received any physical letters.

My speculation is that the early 2017 filers are going to get those letters (January/February/March) as those cases may have bee transfered in order to get CSC current files being worked on to match or come close to the cases that VSC is working on.

2016 filers are still at CSC and anything after March 2017 is still at CSC too. That is ofcourse if we do get a physical notice ... then my speculation goes down the tubes :D

Vermont filer March 2017. NOTHING happened. And today I called, because my extension letter ran out and I wanted to know what to do! So the guy just told me to schedule an appt. Of course NONE available for the next 14 days. Then, just out of curiosity I checked the EAC number that was on the extension letter. This number NEVER worked before. And voila: it now says that my case was received at the local office March 5th. But nobody announced anything. REALLY wondering what is going on here! Did ANY of you folks have a fast approval after the transfer? If so: HOW fast? Thank you all for your answers!

I got that update weeks ago (december 2016 filer). Mine says Feb 26 though. I haven't had any contact from USCIS what so ever. There are a few different theories as to what is happening, but I believe that the updates we're getting on the receipt number that used to not work are meaningless..

How did you handle the expiration of the extension letter? I assume yours ran out too?

I made an appointment at USCIS to get a stamp in my passport. I wasn't originally planning to because I don't have any travel plans. But the DMV here couldn't renew my license without the stamp..

Well if the I-751 was the only case you filed, then that was the one that was approved, which means your 10 year Green Card should be on it's way to you soon.
