Nebraska has not been a center for processing ROC's for many years.

So maybe they are restarting.

Do they have any qualified/trained people there for this processing ??

that is exactly what i am worrying about,  those untrained/unqualified might mess up things that would ruin our lives

Fact chance that they're going to go through each application in detail to cherry pick any "flaw" with them. More likely since they'd be understaffed and under-prepared for such gargantuan task, they'd check for essentials and if it checks out just approved en masse. Thank CSC for that.

so we got a letter today saying my i-751 was transferred to texas service center from California service center and we live in Los angeles also. and there is no processing time listed for i-751 on USCIS website for texas.....

Same as I mentioned before for Nebraska.  Texas has not processed ROC for many years, if ever.

So they must have started or restarted an operation there.

Let's hope the Texas folks know what they are doing.

Finally an update on the website since July 3 2017. Page now shows: "On February 25, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number XXX, at your local office. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address." Not sure how many days until it gets finally approved but it sure is progress. I'd love to hear previous experiences or guidance after this.

Thanks

Just got in from my Infopass and the immigration officer was very nice. NYC FIELD OFFICE

She explained to me that at the internal level the "local office" that the case has been received at is actually Vermont in my case and California service centre for others being that its for form Removal of Conditions.

She explained that the files have been in storage for a whole year but until the immigration officer needs the files they will request it Or a bulk and when a worker sends it to them it will come up as Received by Local office so its no longer in a vault but actually in the office to be processed. When they start to work on it that update might come again and do remember they are in bulks so updates might not show up same time.

I wonder if that means the cases have actually been assigned to be worked?  There are still many questions, such as why is the NOA number working now when it was useless in the past?  Why have some folks began receiving transferred letters?

Either way, it seems like something is shaking in the intestines of the USCIS.  We are nearly at the end.  Just need to travel the ROC to get to the ultimate end.  Movement is good...I think I made that too graphic...

Yea everyone got their own theory there about what's going on. I received a call from an IO yesturday in response to  an inquiry i had mad on the status of my file saying transferred and was told that my file was received at CSC when i originally sent it in 2016 but then was mistakenly tranferred to the Potomac office and finally on 2.26.2018 it was transferred back to CSC. So..........anyway.......🤷🏽 who knows???

Do you mind telling me what was requested in your RFE and what you originally submitted? Thank you.
