February 2017 CSC Filer. No N-400 filed yet.

Looks like they are going to send some form of communication based on the case history.

I see this in my case history from ELIS system

 

 

While the regular Case Status from USCIS website shows this just like most of the folks here on ROC:

December 2016 CSC filer here and also have this exact same status saying I'll receive a message by March 27th but as everyone is saying, it seems to be a generic message so not holding my breath.

This is the message I got on the 7th March 2018. I received a transfer notice in the mail saying that my case had been transferred to the NBC, presumably to forward to my local office to do a combo interview with my N-400.

And not too furture add to the discouragement (mine says the exact same thing and in a 12.2016 filer). But Feb 25th 2018 was a Sunday.....Government offices are closed on Sundays, so im pretty sure that was a computer generated update. 😔. But who knows at this rate. It does seem however that more and more ppl are reporting updates and movements. So I guess we all just keep praying.

I actually got the same update " Your case have been transferred to your local office". I am a May 2017 filler,  to VSC center... if they are working on Feb 2017 cases now and my case is a May 2017 case, how it can be possible to have an update if VSC are still working on the Feb 2017 cases, and not May 2017 cases. Anyone with same experience please share it.

Haven't done that yet, I was thinking about it but thought these guys already backlogged and might misplace something out of that fear I didn't.

Wife was qualified and competed 3 years in U.S. this Feb 18th, 2018.

 

Once I have Green Card in hand I'm filing online right away.

Hello may 17th 2017 filer got same message as most people " On February 27, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number EAC172xxxxxxx, at your local office. "

You know I have been thinking actually with all this movement and notices on USCIS - it could be they are mass touching files and moving within CSC/VSC to quickly finish up back log rather than flood the local offices? Meaning give more priority to certain cases for few months and then go back? If I look at my thing for March 12th it says, "we transferred your case to another USCIS Office for Processing" and then right away it says, "We recieved your case". How can that happen within 1 stupid day? I think they might not have other tags to tag the file and using whatever they get - meaning the transfer message could mean another office within CSC/VSC touched it?

 

Or they could actually be sending the files out? I don't know it's confusing.
