Thank you, i didn't expect however to be approved without an interview considering it's a divorce waiver ROC.

I just think it's very interesting the fact that he checked 2 sources and one of them said that the case was sent to the National Archive in Missouri because it has probably been approved. Maybe that could be the case for all who have received the message.

Also, for those thinking I went on a search on USCIS website and all, below is image showing I-130(s) were moved from Service Centers to Field Offices with Jurisdiction over the petitioner's place of residence - in 2012, and as another user said this never happened before, well below is proof. :)

This is what my friend was telling me that in certain years they just get blasted with cases and they can't keep up then they delegate work to other offices to speed things up. Also, with the current president focuing on deportations and all, lots of changes are happening.

I believe that with our cases being moved and already 2-3 people so far getting approved after transfer it could be a good sign.

Not so fast my friend.  You are comparing apples and oranges.

I-130 goes to local office because it's for AOS which requires interview for most of us.

On this thread we are talking about ROC which usually does not require interview.

There has been no evidence that it is common for ROC files to be transferred from Service Centers to local offices.

In fact we have never seen it, except when an interview will happen.

Green cards are printed and mailed from Missouri.  Look at the heavy sheet that was holder for your 2 year Green Card.

I understand, but as said we are seeing approvals without interviews. If it never happened with ROC before doesn't mean it couldn't happen. You have Zaraa who was a Sept 2016 filer who's case was moved to Local Office and then approved.

The I-130 is the first step to sponsor a relative from overseas, what your taking about AOS is I-485 (with or without I-129/130) when the beneficary is already in the U.S. - 2 very different things.

From what I'm seeing I believe my guess is correct along with my friend who's sponsored over 10+ relatives the last 20 years.

I thought workload in CSC is much more than it is in VSC.

Since we have seen more than 1 years worth of I-751 CSC filers cases moved to local offices. I'm going to go with CSC has very little I-751's now and they will begin processing these once the backlogged I-751's have been adjudicated. Maybe even start the biometrics for these new cases too. Who knows.

We have yet to receive any letters from USCIS saying that the case was really transferred. Our case 2/6/17 and while we have the update,  I have yet to see anything happen. I spoke with lawyer and she has other cases at CSC which are also way behind. They are currently still working on September 2016 for ROC at CSC. Vermont is already doing February and March 2017 filers though.

Someone else had shared this on a different thread, so I went to the USCIS site and didn’t see anything on the news section either.  So this is the second time I am seeing this on VJ, but not on USCIS!
