Nope, I am still hoping though that there will be some notice. Last update on my case was Feb. 26th.

According to the app searches I've done, thousands and thousands of people have been transferred and not one affected VJ member has received anything in the mail about a transfer.

I think a couple filers have received a notice. Not sure if it is because of the bulk transfer or not.

I received one of these "case inactivity" emails as well this morning.  The weird part is that the text read... "We last took action on your case on January 29, 2016."  I'm laughing because the case I'm interested in is the I-751 ROC however I'm an October 2017 filer.  As I have all our case numbers added to our online account... this obviously pertains to an older case I-485 AOS which was last updated on that date.

 

Anyways... as others have mentioned... I'm disabling the inactivity notifications @ https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant/settings ... because they really are useless and only lend to further confusion...

I am following several monthly filer threads.  I remember a least three people stating they received transfer letters.  One person shared the image of the letter from the USPS informed delivery email.

I am one of them , but I got a letter dated FEb 28 which is the date I got transferred and it is stating that I will be scheduled for biometric when the slot is available.

Also, I noticed the header of the letter it is coming from my local field which is Kansas city.

This is an important point.

 

I believe all of these messages about your file transferred to local office means nothing . . . 

except that it is the local office that does the bio work.

 

So the point is the local office received your info (or actually just enough of it) to know that you will be coming for bio.

 

Now, of course, most of us have already done the bio work, so this is meaningless for us.  For a few who haven't yet done bios, they may be moved along to the bios now.

 

It is just a matter of the computer system finally catching up (after some reprogramming) and sending such info to us that should have been sent several months back when our bios were ready to be scheduled.

 

Yes, I know a couple of people really have progressed further and are supposed to be getting 10 year green cards soon . . . but some of them were due to receive anyway regardless of these mass mailings regarding 'file transferred.'  And there are always  going to be some who get 10 year green card extremely quickly for no known reason, just as there are some who get theirs extremely late.

 

Think about it . . . thousands of files being transferred . . . nothing more than a computer system just catching up with bios that have already been completed at local offices.
