No update on the egov website this morning, but on the my.uscis.gov website I got two updates:

March 7, 2018

We transferred your case to another USCIS office for processing

Read the notice we mailed you for an explanation on why we transferred your case

If you do not receive your notice by April 06, 2018, send us a case inquiry and select that you did not receive your notice by mail.

If your mailing address changes, update your address with us.

(Below is the current status):

March 7, 2018

We received your case

You do not need to do anything at this time

We will begin processing your case and will review it to make sure you have submitted all of the required information and documents. We will let you know if we need anything else from you.

If you do not receive your notice by April 06, 2018, send us a case inquiry and select that you did not receive your notice by mail.

@Derwood I hope it's approval. This morning  one girl wrote she got approval on mail and message about card production since  her case was transferred to local office on 02.26. She is 09.2016 filer.

Thanks! I hope so too. I sent in a beast of a file for ROC. It weighed 9lbs - it was huge. Hopefully someone will take a look at it and think 'If I get that off my desk the pile will go down by a third lol).

However, if my file has arrived at my local office, and if USCIS are doing their job correctly (snorts), they will see that I have applied for citizenship and will arrange for a combo interview.

Thanks for the new website. I'm using it and adding my cases to it. But it kinda make no sense on my receipt number history, I have THREE "your case was received" and "If you do not received by 25, 28,29 March" lol...

I'm so confused haha

The Case Status Online Site (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do) is just that: a case status tracker, which is all we were able to do online until recently at all.

I have been going to the link above for almost a year to check our case status.  (I also added the Case Tracker App to my iPhone, so I don't have to repeatedly have to type in the EAC numbers.)  But, it wasn't until this past month that i went to the above link and actually signed up for an account which provides the option of turning on email and text status alerts from USCIS.

Was that you who were approved or someone on the April 2017 thread? If they were a VSC filer, that might not be unusual, just an early approval.

I just spoke to a Tier 2 Officer, and after some research, he informed me that indeed my case has been transferred to the local office and it most likely be scheduled for an interview. After so many posts, i am not sure if i should believe this information or not.

You are right. I wouldn't worry about it too much either since so many people got the same messages and approvals without interviews.
