If we check tomorrow . . . and it says March 6th, then we will know  that USCIS is just providing a service in letting us know what  day of the month it is . . . just in case we don't have calendars.

23 February 2018: Biometrics appointment letter received. Appointment 13 March 2018. 

27 April 2018: Interview notice received. Interview Date: June 5, 2018. Request to reschedule sent as out of the country at that time.

That seems like a specific answer and does not sound like a canned answer. I say that because of named service center and the dates. Maybe just maybe its not a glitch.

Potomac received it and transferred to my local office which I believe is in Falls Church. Maybe that's why we see two dates. In my case Feb 26 and March 4th. I know that Potomac doesn't handle ROC but there might have some ''sorting'' facility there. I am only guessing :)

Isn't the waive fee statement on your CRI-89 case?

We didn't pay a fee for the CRI-89, so that's probably what it  refers to.

When I used the case status online says recibe local office March 5th but on mi USCIS account says feb 26 lol

On my USCIS acc my cri-89 number shows the same a waive fee statement

When we sent a service request (which is showing on our account) the response suggested our biometrics may get waived.  It seems bizarre that some would get waived and some would not, doesn't it?

 

That's odd.  We are December 14th VSC filers and did have a biometrics appointment...

I just checked the Dec 2017 Filers forum.  There are only 4 people after the 9th who did receive biometrics appointments, but only 4 before the 9th who did not...  I looked at the January 2018 forum and once again, a ton of people from the beginning of the month received biometrics, while most in the second half of the month did not.

 

Oddly, the dropoff for CSC biometrics in my month is December 14th; not a single biometrics appointment after that in December or January.

 

This is maddening.  Does anyone else ever feel like they are just making this stuff up as they go along?

I've never requested a waiver fee and paid for my case and bio, that's odd... On regular uscis site I've never seen any fee waiver statement regarding my case only on this new site I tried today. I know some people don't pay for it and get it waived, but not in my case...
