Looks like a glitch, folks. Although the maintenance last night didn't correct the message in my case status, they did send me the following email 30 minutes ago. Translation: calm down, your case has not been transferred to your local office.

We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time

We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on April 28, 2017.

No, I didn't submit a service request. This had to be an automatic email notification. I would suspect people will be receiving this message en masse very soon.

Transferred meaning another office has jurisdiction over your case.  But no worries.  99.95% chance your case is not transferred.  Hopefully yours hits a desk for approval soon!  CSC is certainly behind, but your time is close!

Here’s to Naturalization for all who qualify and desire!  See you in December 2018!

Thank you for the info, putting on back my calm cap :)

Didn't receive any email and case status has not changed here.

I guess the glitch is still a possibility, but then something has to happen at some point at least with CSC, they have barely moved at all in the last 4 months. No one after September 22 2016 has reported approvals from CSC. Why is VSC processing so many more per day? They are already up to March & April 2017.

Here you are, September 2016 filler approved at CSC after "case transfer" thing

"got approval immediately after my case showed it was transferred to the field office this week, and received the approval letter in the mail today. It is still out from CSC in Laguna Niguel. "

Yes, this person was due or overdue, so no surprise there.  Has nothing to do with most of the rest of us who filed later than Sept 2016.

Another Tool Outage to be scheduled on March 4 from USCIS.

Anyway, I personally think that Service Center did transfer some of the cases to Local offices but not all. But when It came to updating case status,  they did a bulk update (they messed it up) so everyone is seeing it. Think about 'My Fees were waived' in which for some people fee was really waived but lot of us saw in our status even though we had nothing to do with it.

I'm leaning towards some CSC filers doing  local office transfers since we have seen Zero movement on CSC applicants that filed after Sept 22, 2016. On recent times, CSC has been doing 15 days movement in every month.
