i dont see any. 

all other transfers happened in between service centers. Its unheard of mass case transfer from both centers to local offices.

Shalom, goyim, and salvete - it's clearly a glitch. All of the evidence point to it. They aren't going to solve a severe backlogging/low-paid gubmint worker incompetence problem by transferring tens of thousand of cases to comparatively tiny regional offices now, are they?

I am a November 2017 filer , had interview for AOS , today got the same update about my case being received by my Local office .

Same here. December 16 filer, just noticed the transfer to local office. Asked my lawyer, he says that means an interview will follow. We'll see.

Maybe normally it would. But it's happening to everyone it's most likely transfer of workload if it's not a glitch. I don't think everyone would be interviewed for ROC. Interviews for ROC do happen but are rare.

Same here. However I did read on the USCIS site that transfers of workloads do happen and it also says if your case is transferred they are supposed to send you a notice in the mail about it. That's how we will find out if this is legit.

If i'm in your shoes, I would welcome the interview right now!  Its a lot better than being in the dark and playing the waiting game.  At least you know what is coming with an interview and just resolve any issue that may pop up.
