Hello , my father is a permanent resident of the USA and i am currently living in bangladesh with my husband and 2 sons. My father applied for us in 2011 , August 15. In 2015 may our case was approved and we were provided with a DHK number. It would be of great help to know how long it is going to take for our case to be complete as i am unsure and confused if to take any other future steps.

You aren’t eligible for F3 if your father is a permanent resident - only citizens can apply for married children. You’ll have to wait till he becomes a citizen. Were you single when he applied for you originally? Or do you mean your father is a citizen and not a permanent resident?

current wait for F3 is around 13 years from priority date.

did you mean your father is a US Citizen,? F3 category is for married children of a USC

if he is only a resident, he can't file for married children, so the petition is invalid

the category has a 12 to 13 years of waiting, so you still have over 6  more years. the NVC will contact your father for the second part of the process

for now, all you do is wait
