Hi how are you , I have a question  I want to know what kind of documents  does my girlfriend  needs for she to ask me as a boyfriend  I heard I have to give her a certificate  birth and policial  crime papel so do I need to translate tjose documents  before she comes ans give to her ? I am in dominican  repablic  ans she is going to start to fill  the papers  out so I want to know what kind the documents are and if I need to translate  those documents in english?

I am not sure whether or not I understood your question correct, but one of the docs she will need is your birth certificate in english. Your other proofs of relationship such as chats also needs to be in english.

For the petition she only needs a passport style photo, termination of previous marriages (if any), evidence of legal name change (if any),  and a statement of intent to marry. 

 

Birth certificates, police certificates all come many months from now when you go to the Embassy for the interview.  They all need to be accompanied by a translation if not in English

Is important for you to understand, the petition is as a fiance, not just boyfriend . A fince is someone that is promise in marriage to another person. So part pf getting the k1 visa, is to be aware and sign a letter of intention where you agree to get married within 90 days of moving to the states.

 

At this point she needs that letter in english and sign from you, and passport pictures. Eventually, if the petition is approved you need to go through an embassy interview and present a bunch of documents

all you need to do is attach your birth certificate or anything proving you are a US citizen if you are the petitioner, and evidence proving the both of you have met and intend to get married within the 90 days your fiance enters the US, passport stamps, Pictures, Affidavit of witnesses, receipts of hotel stays etc... they just want to know your relationship is real and that you intend to get married.
