Hey Chicken Little, So your number was C1, eh? You showed up around 7:30 too? Well if my cousin, Stefan, and I didn't leave to grab breakfast I would have been ahead of you! hehe We were the ones leaving as you and your husband came in. I felt it was too early and was hungry. I ended up coming back at 8:30 and was number C10 but I was finished and out of there at 10:00.

I was also late the next day picking up my passport as well. I know they told us to be there at 2:30 but I didn't show up til 3!! I was at the Catherine the Great exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts and lost track of the time. When I finally got up to the 19th floor there was just me and another guy waiting (he was late too), but everyone was in a meeting so we had to wait a very long time!! Finally at 4 pm they called me to window 12 where a woman behind the window scolded me like a child for not being there at 2:30. Oh well, at least I got the visa in hand.

That's too funny! I was looking around, wondering which one you were while we were waiting, but didn't want to get up and go up to every woman there and asking "Excuse me, but are you Brunette from visajourney.com?" I realized the night before the interview that I had no idea what you looked like, so I couldn't even narrow down which people to approach!

Congrats on your visa too! :)

CONGRATS!!!!

Glad to hear all went well.

May I ask? What questions did they ask you? I am starting to get nervous as my interview is 2 weeks away.

Hey MellieMel,

First of all try not to worry (sure easier said than done!) My hubby and I did not sleep a wink the night before the interview and that damn alarm clock in the room (La Tour Centreville) kept clicking ever hour on the hour ( of course we heard every single hour/click!!!!! Grrrr)

She asked me if I had any trouble with the law?

Any trouble with Customs and Immigration?

My last visit to my hubby was for a period of a year so she asked how I had done that. I told her I flew thru Toronto Pearson and my passport was stamped with a 6 mth stay, I then applied for an extension for medical reasons thru the INS which I was granted. She asked for proof which I produced and satisfied her query.

Next question, how did I come to Canada? She was trying to ascertain if I had emigrated to Canada legally.... Yes I had.

Where and when did you meet your husband?

When did you get married?

That concluded the interview and she told me I could pick up my passport the next day. If I could have reached through that window and hugged her I would have!!!!!! It was over!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Luck and all the best!!!!!!!
