I’m not sure I’m in the correct forum but any leads would be great. I am born/raised Caucasian in MI. I married a Mexican man in Mexico City in 02/2004. I left Mexico in 2008 without my husband. We have been separated since due to mental/physical abuse. I need to know how to go about getting a divorce as it has been out off for way to long. I do know his last known address and a 14 year old is involved (resides with me in MI) custody will not be an issue between the father and I. I also have a copy of his documentation (Mexican) and the marriage documents with me. I believe I have a certified copy (translated) of his birth certificate. Any leads will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Seek the guidance of a local Divorce Lawyer,  not sure if any State requires a reason, you would divorce locally and as you presumably have his address serve papers in Mexico.
