Hello!

I filed and just got an interview scheduled (marriage-based green card from F1).

Now, I requested my birth certificate but I would not be able to have it by the interview date. I already submitted it with all my other documents, but they are requesting it again. I have an old one that was issued last year May. So can I bring the old one in case?

Also, can anyone tell me how the interview goes?

We are planning to bring our 7 years old son with us. Would that be a problem?

Thanks.

There are many different views about bringing a child to interview so we were little hesitating to make up our mind, but we will go with our little boy :)

The birth certificate, what I have is more like family relation document, there is no birth certificate in my country. So I wanted to make sure.

Thank you a lot!! We really appreciate all the replies! :)
