I heard it was the Total Income line, not AGI.

Yes it’s correct. It’s the Gross Annual Income.

We are a late December filer!!! I’m really praying they smash November and December quick!! Hoping they will slay late December and in January. Day 124 here. Ready for November to begin already. I think it will get exciting for January filers at the beginning of June! I guess according to timeline etc can  expect June 30-4 July. So from July 5 onwards should be your times. 

 

I’m busy at work first two week of Sept and hoping for my interview some stage Sept and I’m going too work a bit until Oct to get cheaper flight from London to Vegas with Norwegian! 😝

Yes, someone from november 1st did get approved. there might be more but the USCIS system is still down, so scans are behind.

Here's an article for anyone confused about the difference between Annual and Adjusted Gross Income: https://www.protective.com/learning-center/money-management/gross-income-and-adjusted-gross-income-differences/. 

 

For this past year, I actually didn't report some of my business expenses so that my Annual Gross Income (form 1040 line 22, "Combine the amounts in the far right column for lines 7 through 21. This is your total income") would be high enough.  My Adjusted Gross Income is only about 2/3 of that due to paying for my own benefits (health insurance, SEP, and HSA).  Ah, the joys of self-employment.

Hi thank you for the information.   I am not employed and my taxable income is not much.  I have more income but it's not taxable.   So how do I report it?  I have no earned income... I do not work. 😊

They haven’t started it yet. Hopefully today. You can follow the November thread and see. Someone with a nov 1 submitted date had an approval but that was not the received date.  For starting a month for VJ we go by received date here not submitted date as that’s what shows up in scans.
