The latest approval from October was October 27th, there was an approval from October 31st but they believe it was an expedited case. there are still over 2000 applications awaiting review, at least from the scans but there has been alot of silent NOA2 (Approvals that dont show up on the scans).

By end of this week, i will start following and monitoring the November thread to see when the approvals in November will commence.

How do you follow the threads?

Latest date they have touched according to the scans from last nite is 10/23. There was a 10/27 approval but that was an expedited case. Not sure about 10/31 but probably an expedite as well. They started October exactly 3 weeks ago from yesterday I believe. For November I’d imagine we’re prob a week out give or take a few days. I just hit day 100 myself, time flies.

Sigh, I was hoping they could keep the <30 days streak that they had til know. They've kind of hit a snag in October as it might go over the 30 days for "each date gets a touch". Lets see how November rolls. I think depending on how fast they go through November is when we will know if January will start in June or not.

I still think we should be around the 30 day mark. Look at it this way. As of yesterday they have worked on October for 22 days and they have touched the 23rd. That’s a pace of slightly under 30 days. Even if they start it by next Thursday that keeps it at 30 days and my guess is that’s the latest it would start. Fingers crossed.

Yeah, still 8 days for 30. Fingers crossed.

I believe the number of cases in November and December are lighter than the heavy number of October, so we have that on our side too.

I was just going to ask if anyone knew the numbers for months past and months ahead. How do we determine these numbers? Are they based on visa journey data only or are the people generating the scans able to pull off all K1 applications in a month?

Naes has posted them before, so if you look through older threads you'll probably see them. I think there are in the ballpark of 3,000 for November and 3,000 for December (althought there was some mistake with the count I believe so it might be closer to 4,000). And for October I think there was almost 5,000.

They are based on scans that people have done. They have tried to do so for December and January but there have been many validation errors and they can’t confirm numbers.

In theory it woukd make sense that the months that have fewer apps get processed faster, however,  we don’t know what other applications the adjudicators are also processing. Cr1, h1b, adjustment of status, etc etc.  If the adjusticators only did one type of application   all the time, then the number of apps would be relevant. Or if the number of all visa petitions across all categories  is also lower then yes in theory they get through a month faster but I’m not sure how they allocate staffing resources.

I was wondering that question actually...I have read somewhere that they process all sorts of applications, not just K1 specifically.
