Hugs! It really is stressful :( I’m sorry you’re having mixed emotions. Yesterday was bad for me. Hang in there, we’re going to make it and our relationships are going to thrive from surviving this.

My Sister, thank you, we are trying to be patient but it is not easy. God will see us through. I had a sleepless night because my fiance has been looking at wedding gowns and accessories. So I started calculating the cost of renting a hall, transportation, DJ, mc, drinks, food, Photo and video etc. We are hoping for a wedding of less than 200 guests but it might be more because we have a huge Nigerian community out here. So now, i am like, i need to step up my money saving. Hahaha. Because she wont be working for about 6 months to a year while she gets her green card and then transfer her medical license to be able to work. I have to carry both of us for a while.

How is your own process going? have you been able to get an appointment date at the Lagos USA embassy? and do you have to complete your medical appointment before securing a date for interview or get a date for interview and then book your medical exam? and when do you pay the DS160. Is that once the NVC has received your case or just before the interview date at the embassy.

Hahaha! Yes oo! That's part of this process. The Beneficiary will literally be complete dependent on the Petitioner for about 6 months. Good Lord!

I'm one kinda Bossy Lady that dislikes depending on people (I have no choice now😂).

200? Dearie, I bet ours will be >250 Guests. 🙆

Seriously, no one understands but us! We will definitely come out STRONG! 💪

...I'm currently waiting for NVC #. I will start buzzing them by Monday.

DS-160 Form can be filled anytime after NOA2.

When my NVC Status updates 'Ready', it's certainly in Lagos. So, I can call/email Embassy for the Packet 3 or I download it from the website.

I pay the visa fee, schedule the Interview and then, go for the Medical (walk-in Session, as it doesn't require Booking).

Now, there are only two doctors in Lagos that the USA Approved to do the medical exam, so you do not have to make an appointment with the doctors? you can just go to their clinic or office?

the visa fee is $265 right?

and the DS-160 form is $160 right?

did you pay the in dollars or Naira or it doesn't matter.
