Will anyone else else be doing anything similar? I’m getting a start because I know it takes time and don’t want to be scrambling for this after we get NOA2. But, is there an easier way to screenshotting messages, putting them in a document and resizing? Because so far, and I’ve cut a few messages out, there’s like 500. That is ALOT and I don’t want to hand in unnecessary pages... it’s taking time which I will put in because it’s worth it. But it might get to 100+ pages by the time of the interview... is that overkill? 

 

I just don’t want to ‘under’ do it, either. How do you draw the line? What will other people do? 

I plan on doing all u have said because we don't have a visit planned before the interview. we chat on whatsapp and it is a pain in the but to email the chat logs to myself and then cut and paste them into a work document, so every month I cut and paste the chat log so I wont have so much to do when it is time for the interview.

Happy April to everyone we enter the 3rd month of filing our petition and it feels like FOREVER. 

So on the topic of proof of relationship I personally feel like less is more and I have created “gifts” over the months like one being a calendar of all of our pictures throughout our time together and collage of our texts, phone calls etc. I also have made sure to include pictures of me at like work with our pictures in the background, and at the house with me cuddling a blanket with our pictures plastered all over it lol. I also included family pictures with a picture of me holding a frame with me and my fiancé in it. 

And I figure if they are really that ####### about proof then let them look at my fiancé’s phone and the CO would see everything 😝😝😝

collage that is a good idea I didn't even think about that.....and 3 months you are well on your way stay positive just think you are closer to being together

As we are talking about proof of relationship and gifts.... how do you guys ship gifts?   Weve sent a few gifts back and forth but for a small package it costs $30- $50 to ship!

I normally order online from stores in SA and have them deliver and I have the recipt sent to my email to keep as proof and my fiancé does the same

Thanks guys for the replies. That gives me relief that I can cut it down. I also saw from a few others in Sydney, they seem to prefer less, too. I'll work on cutting it down, so it's just a few pages. Phew! I just want to do enough. And hopefully a mix of chats, facetime, photos from skype dates and gifts will work  

 

As for buying gifts, I usually buy small/light gifts to send to my fiance from Australia. Recently, though, I bought something online for our one year and had it shipped to him which was definitely cheaper. But I usually like to hand-make stuff (such as a scrapbook from our adventures over the last year) so I certainly pay for the shipping.

Mine's currently predicting to be right around my birthday; now that would definitely be a fantastic approval!

September POE is still reasonable for me. That's within normal range of 9-10 months of processing time. But POE as soon as possible is of course much better 😁
