That's a good question. I've wondered this myself.

While looking at case numbers close to mine I see that some get denied right away due to missing a signature, improper filing or wrong fee sent in. But don't know if any petitions are denied later on in the process or if they only get denied at the embassy level like you mentioned.

Yeah, besides technical rejections based on incomplete forms or correct payment.  I’m curious if normally adjudicators deny petitions based on what’s in the petition or if all are approved with or without RFE

Yeah, I know what to mean. I wonder the same. I'm sure one of the older members like @Naes and @John & Rose might know something about that ?

The only real denials past that point is being caught with lies in the petition but the most common is the CO determining that the relationship is not bona fide.  Most are approved but a few get denied on the question of a true relationship.  If that happens there is always the possibility of a CR-1 visa.  Those are very rarely denied if they are honestly filled out.

Oh thank you for giving me idea. I am a bit anxious about what to do as of this moment while waiting for our NOA2. Since i dont wanna waste my time gathering things and documents needed. So you mean if i had been vaccinated i can already request for a record from my doctor? I am a Filipina and its worrying coz i am working here in hongkong. Too much time to spend on gathering documents. Tnx for your words @Jlomartin

@ShyLucy well I think it all depends in the country you are coming from.  My Fiancee is from Canada so they can give her, her immunization records and indicate which ones she is due for.  I read on a website that immunizations do not have to be up to date for the k-1 visa process but for the AOS it has to be within standards.  I forgot what website @Naes provided me for the information of immunizations.  Maybe she can  respond to this and give you the information.

As John also said, what I've seen so far; them not believing the relationship is bonafide not having enough relationshipevidence or shady evidence, not being single or not being able to prove it (problem with divorce decrees), and most important of them all not meeting within the past two years (you wouldn't believe how many believes they can waive this....seriously)

USCIS does not want binders that are not easily disassembled.

no need to use plastic protectors

no need to highlight

yes, copy photos and write pertinent info.  Would look better if made on computer than handwritten

Thank you so much for your help on the 6 questions.

I read the instructions for I-129F again and it states that "it will be appriciated" if we use the ACCO fasteners with the two holes on top of the page. That does mean to make 2 holes on ALL the pages? To put sticky tabs on the bottom not on the side! I have viewed Youtube videos where almost all are sent on a binder with all pages in plastic protectors and sticky tabs on the side.

My Fiancée visited me in th USA with a B1/B2 visa. She arrived on 09/28/17 and was given 6 months at the airport and returned on 01/24/18 after a 4 months visit, well within the permited stay limit. My question is about Page 6, Part2, Item 37, and 38.a. to 38.h. I cheked yes for #37 but uncertain wether to complete 38.a. to 38.h. because she is no longer in the USA.

Also I cheked the ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE I-94 Most Recent and the most recent is back from 12/03/12 not from 09/28/17. However, all Arrivals and Departures are posted on her TRAVEL HISTORY including her most recent Arrival and Departure information with Date, Type, and Location documentation. All Arrivals and Departures are stamped on her passports. My question is if I can use her TRAVEL HISTORY and her PASSPORT documentation for this purpose since I can't get the Most Recent I-94 ?

Thank you so much for your help,

God bless you.

Hello!

Do NOT use a three hole binder. Do NOT put each page in laminate.

We used binder 'clips' to put our sections together.

We also used sticky tabs on the bottom of the pages.

So to clarify:
1. Each section had a binder clip

2. Each section had sticky tabs at the bottom

3. Each sticky tab was labeled

4. Each picture was labeled with date/time/location

I am not sure what Page 6, Part2, Item 37, and 38.a. to 38.h is; can you take a screenshot for those of us who are at work?

The US citizen will need to include a scanned color copy of each page of their passport. The beneficiary will need a scanned color copy of each page of their passport that has a US stamp, as well as the identification pages of the passport.

I believe I am correct on that. If I am, someone please let me know.

If she was in the U.S. while you were filling out the I-129F form then you indicate yes and include her I-94 Record number then follow through 38.d. to 38.h.  My fiancee was in the U.S. with me while we were putting our package together,  The electronic I-94 should have all the information with the most current date of entry to the U.S.

For our package we only used page protectors for our photos and held all pages together with the the paper clips not the fasteners.  Also we put the tabs on the bottom.  It was less bulky this way and straight to the point.

Hola!

Thank you for your quick responce and information.

I'm going to follow your 1-4 suggestions. So, no ACCO fasteners with holes on top of each page!

Sorry, but I don't know how to take a screenshot!

Yes, we do have scanned color copies of each page of our passports.

Gracias and God bless you

Hi all

Reading the previous discussions under this topic, I became confused about one thing. Is it necessary for both the Petitioner and Beneficiary to add copies of their passport pages? The Petitioner included their birth certificate (US citizen). But I don't recall reading in the instructions that I needed to add my passport copies as well? (I am the Beneficiary).

If anyone could clear this up for me, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!
