You mean, notice date @Naes? I was confused myself. I used notice date but then when I input the receipt number to USCIS system, they told me they received that 5 days earlier. I feel more comfortable to use the receive date here too because that's the date USCIS is going to process my case. But I don't know if it would affect the projection here or your calculation. Any thoughts?

Oh by the way, I really appreciate your post earlier about the number of cases that have been touched or approved. Even though I don't know how to really read it, I really hope they're going to touch august filers next week!

Those eatimations are plus minus 10 days, and it won't effect anything no worries and some puts one some puts the other, I put the one on the website cause I count with that, and all my calculations is based on that.

put whichever you like :)

I'm gonna post this here too in case you guys are interested ;).

I was curious about how a weekly approved cases graph (over the past few months) looked like, so I decided to find out.

Please, note that ONLY updated approved cases were considered, and that the purpose of this graph is just merely informative, not predictive.

I'm curious as to why the waiting period is getting longer? April cases had to wait for 4 months which looks like normal waiting time for me. Then May and June cases had to wait for 5 months. The worst condition is for July filers. They had to wait for 6 months and even some of them are still waiting. This backlog creates more backlog for the following filers. I really hope they can pick up the pace or else we the January filers will have to wait even longer than 5 months! :dead:

Actually this one corresponds to RFE'd cases never (or not yet) updated to another status, such as approved. Sorry if it was confusing.

Because april waited longer than 4, and May 5. But that's only when it started.

Or you mean the wait after after a month started till they touch everydate?

Ah ok.

so for example they start a month, for example they started june in day 168 of waiting for the first case of june.

however they stretch this out, especially what we see in that graph is they stretched out April, May and June more. So there are 25 june filers in vj waiting right now for example and they reached day 240s.

so for June it was 5-8 months, and an average wait of6-7 months.

but as july spiked so quickly, and August started right after, even though july started on day 190, overall speed is faster because they did more cases in a shorter time.

ANd that's why our timelines in vj is going slightly backwards. As they started August in 189th day, if they go with the same speed, it would go a little bit more backwards in a few weeks :)

Unfortunately, we will be getting an RFE because I did a stupid and left out our passport photos from the file.  I think I let the excitement get the better of me at the Post Office when we sent it off because I double checked we had each page just didn't check the photos. I realised 2 days later (the night before I was returning to the US) that we still had the photos in our folder. *face palm*

Hopefully it won't extend out time too much.

Everyone, double (and triple) check E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G.

You're right, it does get exhausting. But it's okay... what's done is done. We'll know to triple check properly next time. Plus, we'll be prepared for the RFE. In fact, I'm already being a bit pedantic in creating lists on what's needed for the next step to see what we can do now and what just needs to wait. Y'know? Am I the only one? :P

Oh, I'm not sure how to edit posts. My first post up there is meant to say 'returning to AUSTRALIA'
