Its only showing like that on the new site the old one is still only received. It looks like you should check the new one nowadays.

Yeah I know the old site is not updating and only the new one is I was just curious if the 188 days you waited was base off of the receive date used by the old site and the app or the other date on the new site.

Oh, I was just coming in to say we got that email, too?!

I know it's clearly not an approval, but hopefully it does mean they've touched our case?!

I still haven't gotten even one of these.  198 days since our Received Date on the new website and 205 days since filing.  Do they give these to people who do case inquiries or automatically?

I called my congressman's office yesterday and emailed them last night with our case details.  Today, I'll be sending the privacy note, I-129F, NOA1, and some other documents via overnight mail.  (Oddly, they asked for a privacy note from my fiancee, not from me.  I sent both.  But since the original for hers is on its way from Australia, it will take a while to get here.  I hope they are fine with a photocopy.)  Didn't fall asleep last night until around 3am.  Yes, we are getting stressed...

June 2016: We started writing to each other

June-July 2017: Met in person in the US for our first anniversary

December 2017 - January 2018: Met again in the US and got engaged

01/09/2018: I-129F sent to the USCIS Dallas Lockbox via FedEx

01/16/2018: Received NOA1 (NOA1 notice date: 01/11/2018)

June-July 2018: Met in person in Singapore and Australia for our second anniversary

08/03/2018: Notice date on our NOA2 (updated in USCIS's new website on August 6)

08/15/2018: Our case reached NVC

08/22/2018: Received NVC case number

09/04/2018: Our package left NVC (arrived 9/11, and she sent packet 3 that day)

09/20/2018: Received packet 4; scheduled interview

10/30/2018: Interview - told that we're approved!  Now waiting to receive the visa...
11/27/2018: Port of Entry at BWI

12/1/2018: Our wedding!

12/8/2018: Filed AoS on the way to our honeymoon (12/8-15/2018)
6/~7/2019: EAD and AP approved
09/25/2019: AOS interview in Orlando -- approval and green card!

Next step, June 2019: Filing I-751

Note: My wife is a Singaporean.  She moved to Australia before we met and got permanent residency there.

First time posting here on Visa Journey and I have been checking all of yours' Jan. 2018 Filers for months now! I am on the same boat as you. I received the same email earlier this morning at 6:33 (CT Time). I am unsure what this means but I am happy that they have taken some action on some cases and are letting us know. I know that there are people that filed before us and haven't received anything yet as well as people getting approved that filed after us. I am just happy that I heard something directly from USCIS.

Today marks my 7 Months Received date 01/04/2018 and my original NOA1 is 01/09/2018 so I probably have a week or so left to hopefully hear something from USCIS.

I also have another questions in regards to the Country filing in? Do the country of the beneficiary makes a big factor in how long or quick the K1 Visa gets approved?

My beneficiary is from Laos which I believe might be stricter more regulated in regards to these kind of petition as compare to other country (bigger country) as for example; Brazil, China, Australia, etc..... Do any of you guys that have been through this know? Or anyone that has done  a petition for a fiance of fiancee in Laos that had been approved know? Thanks....
