I would really like to know how USCIS works. So we've never received emails from them and this month of July we started receiving emails from them every two weeks stating that they are still working on our case. This started just this month and we didn't sign up for it.

The strange thing is that we received an email on July 16th saying that they last took action on our case June 18th but are still processing it. Today (July 30th), we received another email saying they last took action on our case June 28th. If that's the case, then why didn't they inform on the July 16th email that they last took action on June 28th since it was two weeks past? Makes no sense to me.

Today i received the same email saying they last took action on our case July 19th..... Trying to figure out what does it mean..... Hope it is a good sign and our approval is already close)))

Congratulations on your approval.  I wanted to check your timeline to see your dates but it says you don’t have a timeline.  Can you please fill in a timeline ?  It will help others waiting for their NOA2

I also received the “we touched your case on July 19” email this morning (after 197 days). I was going to send an inquiry this afternoon. Maybe they are just trying to cut down on the # of calls they are getting. At least it offers a little hope in knowing it’s not still in a box under someone’s desk.

I’m very fortunate that I can meet my fiancée in Hungary this month. It’s been 4 months apart and it feels much longer. My heart goes out to those folks that don’t have the opportunity to see your loved ones more often.
