I'm not a 100% sure if NVC will accommodate your request. Most applicants that I work with change there mind after the file reaches their Embassy. If that happens to you then follow my directions below.

If you wish to have your immigrant/fiancée visa file transferred from one Embassy to another U.S. Embassy/Consulate, please contact the appropriate U.S. Embassy/Consulate directly in the country where you wish to apply and follow their instructions for case transfer. Please click here for the full list of all U.S. Embassies and Consulates overseas.

Please let me know how this works out for you guys.

Thank you sooooo very much @Greenbaum I will keep you updated as the time nears!! I’m sure you’ll be hearing from me hahahaha

I remember when I started this process I was sure I would have a chance at an expedite because i have written documents from my doctor and documentation to show financial loss directly related to my K1case. After being denied I applied again and was denied a 2nd time and with a heavy resolve, I gave in and said at the least I will have an answer by mid July (my timeline). I would hope and imagine I would be one of the early approvals like what happened to November. And  when that happened maybe at the very least I would be approved with my same fellow NOA1 members.

Not in my wildest dream did I imagine I would hit the 210 mark but here I am. From wanting an expedite  to Outside "normal times".

I understand there are people waiting longer than me. I just needed to vent and rant and only everyone here truly understands this process because when i rant to my family the timelines and the dates go over their heads. I have a bad panic disorder so this process affects me in a rough way.

Congrats to all the approvals regardless

Yes we can all definitely empathize and understand the struggles of this entire process. Last night/today is one of these days for me as well that I am like omg in 17 months I have seen my fiancé for a total of 30 days...it is sooooo very overwhelming and definitely gets the best of us all at times.

Im praying for all of us still waiting that we can be there for one another to “listen” and help lift each other up! We’ve got this @JayHouser our time is coming soon!!!!!!

I'm so sorry. I'm over 200 as well and have been having horrible anxiety. I pray we get our approvals soon. Stay strong!
