I feel worried actually hitting 210days without any news. Cause when you do an inquiry about being outside normal processing, USCIS will just going to give you a standard answer and that is “wait for another 30-45days”. Like what???😱😱😱 That will be another agony on our part. 😭😭😭

The process is definitely broken. People pay a lot of money to have these petitions processed and as a consumer they have zero accountability. They set what is “normal processing” and if there outside of it they will give you a boilerplate response and there is nothing you can do about it. It is ridiculous!

That’s so true.. The worst case is, We have nothing to do about it. We can never raise any question to them. So sad...😢😢😢

The main call center basically sees the same info that you do. Once you cross the processing time inquiry threshold, they will likely connect you to a Tier 2 USCIS person who has access to USCIS internal and other systems that the call center people don’t have access to.

Wait really? So on your NoA1 the received date is the 12? I'm just asking bc I didn't know that they were so quick to file it upon receiving it lol. That's actually surprising

It's been this way forever. Not going to change. Years ago when it was being adjudicated within 5 months no body complained. Now it's outside and HOLY C_ _ P Batman. Look at it this way They have the Gold so they get to make the rules. You need patience or your not going to make it. You still have AOS and ROC and they are not a walk in the park either. I know.... "I am with my love one so it's going to be different". :reading:How many times have I heard that??

Yeah, as far as I can remember, my Fiancé sent it thru first class/speed post. Even we, we were surprised when we received our Noa1 hardcopy. It says there “Received date: January 12”.

My NOA1 was Jan10 and it has passed time now, NO RFE Yet or NOA2.. seems to be just stuck waiting... Anyone else have any Idea what is happening???

No one has ever been able to answer that question. It's best now that you are waiting to begin gathering your documents. Has your fiancé traveled outside the Phil for more than 6 months since the age of 16? If yes she needs a Police Clearance and some take 1-2 months to get. Do you have the following information as to what needs to be done for the interview at USEM?

Once you receive your case number it's time to be in charge of what time you choose when things get down. To smooth that trail for your I have a few things that will help you process your visa there in the Philippines.

Start by visiting Hanks site where he has taken the time and research, and of course it helps if you spent 8 plus years helping folks in the Philippines sub-forum get their visas, where he has listed each step. With those steps he includes the what, when and why to completing the item. Many have used the website and have had little or NO problems securing a visa from USEM.

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Next you'll want to connect with those who are processing through the Philippines in the VJ Philippines sub-forum that way you will be with like minded ppl who are sharing their experiences and also asking and answering questions. Since most in this thread are processing through another country they would be hard pressed to explain what is needed for the Philippines.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

You'll find this on Hank's website but I will give it to you early and that is the Packet 3 Letter for USEM. It's found here:

https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/

Here is the Packet 3 letter.

There you have it. Everything you need to get your visa. Good luck and smooth sailing.
