Yes the NVC number. Hehehe. I’m glad Philippines is one of the fastest Embassies to process.

Ok great, me to, I’m hoping they will come here first weekend in November.

You can request for an expedite case.

Yeah? We’d still need to get a co-sponsor, though...

It’s ok. It doesnt matter. Just try mailing a request for expedite. Financial Reason(Losing a job) is a strong ground to expedite a case. Won’t harm you if you try anyway.

Ahh, he lost it.

I’m so sorry, I’ve been there. I took it as an opportunity to try new things and grow. I’m going to school for a better job and I recently bought a motorcycle. So much more will happen when you try and try and not give up. You’ve got this.

Oh they can come there on Sept. hehehehehe

I would love that but she thinks it maybe too soon. Plus her sister is flying over there to visit and then she’s flying back with her. It’s also the cheaper flights.

You’re right, it won’t hurt. We shall look into it. Thank you.

Yeah, we won’t give up! And honestly, it might mean he gets to visit after all... which sounds counter-productive when he’s just lost a job but I feel strongly that a visit would add to our evidence for my interview. Neither has visited since we filed so this could be a little silver lining? Anyway, we’ll see how it all goes!

Oh yes. Better leave on November then. Let her savour first her favourite sinigang(sour soup) and paksiw(vinegar stew) for the next coming months before flying there. She will surely miss those.

Wow now that’s some positive thinking. I haven’t seen my girl since mid February, after I filed.

I do want to keep things authentic here for them. Make it just like home.

I am by no means happy he lost the job but yes, it could mean a positive thing. It would be really nice to see each other. However some people around him say it would be wiser to save money for when we’re married which I totally understand and in any other circumstance I’d agree. But there’s enough benefits to a visit that far outweigh the cost (in my opinion). Anyway fingers crossed. 😁😁
