When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Unrelated question...if I change my last name after marriage, do I still apply for Green Card under my old name? How do I travel with my Ukrainian travel passport that has my old name but a green card with a different name? or do I always bring marriage certificate to prove name change?

Ohhh yes my friend did the same and she has to carry her marriage certificate to all places, i was thinking the same! will be kinda my ID tho!

Once you are married and you change your name then begin using that new name for all your documents including AOS. If indeed you change your name then do it using the marriage certificate. Then use the new name for Social Security, driver's license, GC and passport to name a few. If you travel bring along your marriage certificate for verification. Once everything has been changed then no need for the marriage certificate.

Has anyone been approved from the CSC from January? I just called USCIS and checked on the status of my case. Date on new site is Jan 19, 2018. I thought were were at the end of this part of the process but she just told me that it was 11 -14 months instead of 5-7. I am so sad because this info is different then what the processing times say on this website.

I believe you called to early, they gave a generic response. I'm not as versed as many on here but I believe it's around 200 days before you can call. That would be around August 7th for you.

It’s 6-7 months currently
