Congratulations to the people who have been accepted! Hopefully this is the start of things speeding up a little?😁 we are January 10th old site and January 13th new site! Anxiously waiting and getting more and more excited!😃

I’m curious, does uscis just approve things once a day in the morning? Or is it possible to still check and see that sometime in the afternoon an application has been approved? Just curious because Ive seen so many approvals in the early morning.😊

I read in this thread before that she checked in the morning and the status is still received and then in the afternoon it was approved.

You will need her cooperation to continue. You will not be able to get a visa without her affidavit of support. I hope you figure things out with each other.

I'm so sorry to hear this. But do you have the affidavit of support that you need in the interview? Maybe you can go to the US (if you have a tourist visa) to fix things before you go through the process? since medical and DS160 is kind of pricey.

I don’t know where everyone is getting this requirement from.  When I filed in January, you only had to send “every page” of passport if you were using to prove citizenship and didn’t send birth certificate.  If you sent birth certificate, you only had to include passport identification page and entry and exit stamps

I'm also very confused. When we filed we read in the USCIS instructions that we had to send in proof of the petitiotioner's citizenship. Nowhere did I read that it needed to be a copy of every page of her passport or mine at that. Unless we were using the passport as proof of the times we met in person.

So whats going on? Did someone get a RFE specifically asking for the copy of all passport pages or is everyone just getting paranoid at this point.

More so paranoia, however if you look at the RFE's master list some of the reasons why there were RFE's in the past is due to lack of all passport pages. Not sure if this was maybe a requirement before that is no longer in use or what but it is a possibility since people have gotten them in the past for not submitting all pages.

I thought you only need all pages of the passport OR birth certificate copy

You mean the Brazilian flag? If so, I'm not sure. I just filled out my profile on Visa Journey when I first created my account. Just put down where the beneficiary is from and maybe it will show up? Bc I honestly don't know lol

Go into your profile. Click edit profile. Then change the country. Then when you click portal at the top it will automatically bring you to your country. Additionally, if you post any questions more people from your country will see it so you will get more country specific answers.

You got approved without a RFE, did you send in all pages of both passports or did you send in just the birth certificate?

Still waiting at 203 days. I remember when filing being asked for either the birth certificate or passport pages. I included both but not all pages off passport
