Yes I love IDS I signed up for it long time ago and now I make sure I check my email religiously from IDS because as u said the scan is sent to my email very early in the morning

You wait 2-3 weeks and then begin calling NVC for your case number. Once you have that then you can begin collection documents but you need the follow the instructions in the P3 letter. I have attached the links to the letter below. This is the same letter your Embassy will be sending you but I have a early release . Other couple shared this with me so I share with you.

Be sure to check your spam folder as some have been known to land there without the recipient knowing.

@Randy kelly and @raissadefaria  Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile from others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

You may get an RFE to which you will follow the instructions contained in the RFE, sign and return it back to them following their instructions. Please read it carefully and do everything it says to do otherwise, you may be denied. Someone forgot to sign their RFE and they were denied. Now they have to submit a waiver form along with $675 buckaroos to plea for consideration.

As other countries move away from stamping passports, I think USCIS will need a different method.

They do, it's called DS-160 and their background checks which include your travel. Don't ever question USCIS and what they know and don't know about you. I have seen some stuff that didn't turn out well for the applicant couple. Just saying be careful.

Your right in that they are asking for all pages of the passport but be careful when you say "they won't care too much esp if you're the applicant" which is not true and very dangerous. This is serious and USCIS takes what you say or don't say seriously. You MUST adhere to their instructions or face denial. They don't play around. Please read my statement above to another person in this thread. I'm just trying to help you to help others with factual information. I try not to speculate on what USCIS wants or doesn't want. "The man who has the gold makes the rules".

Those dates are never accurate and they really don't mean much and can't be used for anything. So no need to memorize because there is no test or document that ask for it. Just saying.

thanks but it def doesn't go to my spam I get an IDS email everyday.....lol
