The VJ guide mentions bringing a copy of the entire packet, but I think that's just cautious overkill and it's not actually required:

What to send to your fiance once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2):

1. A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one). Your fiance should review this information in advance of the interview (the embassy will have copies of this as well).

Make TWO copies of the entire package before you send it in. This includes the money orders too. You want to have a perfect replica of the package you are sending in.

I definitely panicked when I read it because I didn't photocopy the actual form since I have it saved on my computer, but I couldn't find anything from an official source requiring a photocopy of the entire packet be brought to the interview.

Over the years I found the VJ guides out of date or lacking information. I never send anyone to the guides here.  The I-129f is not required for the Embassy interview. If the two of you decide that the i-129f is important to you so that you know your fiance better then send copy of the 129 packet.

So is anyone else wondering why the activity for us January filers  has been only approvals and no RFEs? When the scans used to run, RFEs accounted for a lot of the activity. I haven't seen anyone update their timeline or post on here that they got an RFE. Does anyone have any ideas as to why?

There was a tweet last week that said USCIS would be using more resources to do back ground checks with the hopes of having less rfe. That is possible why we r seeing less or people did the do diligence and filed correctly.

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

I think it's not in effect until September.

My fiancé called on Thursday and was told that they were about to send us a RFE 😢 I keep checking our accounts (old and new) and there hasn’t been any updates still. The guy on the phone couldn’t tell us the date or the reason for it though so we just have to wait for the letter. He said to expect it in 2 weeks.

I definitely panicked when I read it because I didn't photocopy the actual form since I have it saved on my computer, but I couldn't find anything from an official source requiring a photocopy of the entire packet be brought to the interview.

And THERE is probably where I read it. I know I’ve visited the guides multiple times. I will follow Greenbaum’s comment and take those guides with a grain a salt. Like I said, I’ve been trying to read everything on this process 😂  I was thinking from now on, to photocopy *everything* just as a reference for us; just in case etc.

I was actually having that thought the other day... I guess we’ll see how the rest of the month turns out. Still plenty to go!

We’ve hit 181 days, 6 months. Does anyone else feel it is NOT their time yet? I dunno where it’s come from. I know we’re heading into a new week, but I also just don’t feel like it’s our time yet. But maybe it’s a self-preservation thing because i don’t want us to be disappointed.
