I filed on January 9th (Jan 16th on the new website), and our timeline for the wedding is pretty tight.  What option should I pick on the case inquiry?  I don't think I'm outside the normal processing time yet, and I don't know of any cards, notices, or documents that haven't arrived yet.

Not to be harsh but your timeline for the wedding is not gonna matter to uscis

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Just correct me if I am wrong. If you are referring to “Current date of December 20th” as CSC is processing now, according to VisaJourney they are already touching Jan 1st now as per checking earlier this day.

That is correct but I just tried just to see

@Jovanni yes you can call USCIS anytime for an update about your case.

Atleast you will know any progress about your case. And there is nothing wrong about that. If they will tell you that you are still within processing time, you can ask them when can you call them back for a follow up.:rolleyes:

December 20th is the date that it's considered out of normal processing time. But, don't be surprised if they tell u that u r within nomarl processing time as they have added 5 days onto everyone's received date.

Best bet is to wait till day 215 then call uscis. That way u won't be putting hits on ur case and u will be outside normal processing time.......

Hello everyone, so went onto the new website and found this. Such a relief, I hope everyone else gets approved too❤️

I have a rather silly question do I need to show the consulate an unabridged birth certificate or not.

Congratulations! 🌼🌼🌼🌼 And yes you need to show them your unabridged birth certificate.
