Hi Everyone, we all need to breathe and relax. Dont get all worked up now that you are near the finish line. This should be a time of excitement and anticipation because we are so near to the the end, not frustration or anxiety levels going high. To get all worked up now, will only do more harm than good, let those emotions go and try to channel that energy to positive thoughts.

For those of us who are the petitioners, we should really focus on gathering and putting together all their documents we will need to send to our beneficiaries once approved and if you have completed that then start planning on preparing your house and space for your fiance. create a list of things you would like you and your fiance to accomplish with the first month, 6 months, 1 Year. we have a lot to do to get our beneficiaries accustomed to live in the USA and to make them comfortable. Remember, it is not easy to learn new ways and new customs as a adult when we are already set in our ways.

For the beneficiaries, this should be the time to enjoy the company of those you will leaving behind and who know when next you will see them again. there are things you can be doing now as well, getting your police report, getting your medical immunization up to date, getting your documents ready for the final stage, planning what you will do with all the things you have accumulated (Would you be able to move everything to america or what do you have to sell off or give away). you should also be researching about american history and culture, try to learn all you can, so your transition when you get here will be easier for you because it has been frustrating for some. I would suggest put together a list of things you would like to do or accomplish within your  first month, 6 months, 1 Year and discuss with your fiance.

we have alot to do between now and POE, lets use our time wisely to maximize chances for a successful fiance visa process and success marriage life. Just thought i share what i am and will be doing with my fiance. Hope this helps.

@Deehotstepper Well said my FRIEND! I needed that....although I have already done most of the things on this list with the exception of what I would like for us to accomplish is the coming months of POE. I have arranged and rearranged my house a million times, I have purged somethings, paint walls, Rehabed my master bathroom to my dream bathroom and cleaned out closets to make room.

My plan is to hand deliver the AOS papers during my surprise visit as well as other relationship support documents like pics chats and of course an updated LOI (Letter of Intent) by the way @Deehotstepper what state do you live in if you dont mind me asking?

Hello! January 17 filer here (new site) and I have a question for the group - Is there a cover page template for the packet of additional info that is needed for the beneficiary interview, OR do we revise the original cover letter and insert the proof of ongoing relationship into the original packet, along with an updated Letter of Intent for marriage? Sooooo close! I can feel it!

Hi My Friend,

i am in the lovely state of Oregon - Portland is my city. Beautiful city, where are you?

I have been changing things in anticipation of my fiance. i know women love clothes and shoes, so i built in another closet for her, just need to paint it, added in two shoe closets too. i will be working on the backyard to make it look more like  her previous home, so she wont miss home too much. It has just been too hot to work outside. So i continue to work inside. i will be repainting the living ceiling this weekend because I had a water leak and now that it is fixed, i couldnt find the exact same paint os i have to paint the entire living room ceiling and i want to do it before she gets here. just want things to be almost perfect for her.

I called USCIS today because at the beginning of July I wrote a letter to USCIS to correct a typo .  I know they received the letter on the 5th, but I never received an acknowledgment of the letter or typo correction.  Long story short, they transferred me to Tier 2 immigration officer and I was prompted to schedule a call back.  Estimated call back time is 197 minutes.  I just thought that estimation is humorous lol.

I wrote one back in June 22 and it was received on June 23 and worked on in June 25th but i have not received anything. I called like a week ago and they told me to wait 30 days to receive a response although the online status says that a response was mailed out on the 25th of June. :(

Yeah, I just want to know they have the typo fix before they adjudicate my case.  Who knows, maybe my call will get someone looking at my case.  Wishful thinking , my NOA1 is Jan 30th lol

Jan 4 received date: old and new site.

Received an E-mail tonight it says:

I tried logging in to the new uscis website to check the status, however i forgot my password and security questions that’s why they locked my account. Does getting an account locked affect our application?

also tried calling uscis to update but i can’t get a live rep since it’s too early in the US.

Praying and hoping for us janubies to get our approvals right away! 🙏🏻

It wont affect your application. I was also locked out of mine a month before i got approved but created a new one under my Fiancé's email address. Just sign up for a new account with a different email address. Add your case there so you can view what that decision is. I hope it's an approval! Good luck :)

Hi guys! Could someone tell me how can I see the old website? I always look the new website :(

"New" Case Status website: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/
"Old" Case Status website: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

Or just download the USCIS app for android or iOs, it uses data from the OLD website

I just double checked now, old site link is where you can instantly put your case on the case tracker. new site link is where you have to create an account first before you can add your case and view status. Mine still says approved on the new, and received on the old. If you are sure you can access the new, you can just download the mobile app USCIS case tracker because it uses the data from the old website.

Posted homepage of both site for your reference
