Congrats to all that got approved. I am a little worried though because it seems like the first week or two of January was completely forgotten. It is hard to track with the old site not working, hopefully there are silent approvals in the mail.

Do the scans not work again?

It is early still but I don't see any updates on the mini scans I tried. However, I only scanned a few dates, December 29, January 2nd and January 4th. All the approvals this weekend came from the new site.

Yeah thats why I am wondering if the old site is updating and if the scans are still working or not.

scans are useless if the old site doesn't update daily, I did a mini scan on the app just now, the last date shows 7/10. there are so many approvals beyond that date that aren't showing up sadly. I'm on 199 days

I have amazing news. I called USCIS just right now and they said I was approved today. I am January 4th NOA1.

 

There was no updates on the new or old sites and I did not receive any emails. I did not have to speak to a tier 2 person, the tier 1 person told me right away I was approved.

 

If you are from the first week of January please call to see. The system updates for us do not seem to work properly.

After that when the options come up hit 1 for english

 

Than hit 2, this is something like case status

Than hit 2 again, this is saying you forgot your WAC number. It is important to hit 2 even if you know your WAC number because that is the only way to get a person to answer.

Cadbury chocolate, chicken salt, sitting outside in the sun at lunch in the *middle* of winter (you can't do that in Ohio LOL. We do have a long time until the GC. I'm not too worried about spending my time. I have writing projects I can focus on, books to catch up on, craft/homey projects I could look for on Pinterest But I'm not too sure what Ohio laws are re: DL. I tried looking it up but I'm keen to find out because I did assume we could get one pretty soon after arriving in America but I didn't realise each State had it's own laws :/

 

A veggie patch is super fun! And driving on the other side permanently will take getting used to, but it's not too bad. Especially if you're going to a more quiet area  How long until you can get a DL?

I'm the US petitioner and even I miss chicken salt from my time in Aus!
