The agents that answer the phones are not the ones that review our cases. So, it technically doesn't slow them down. they are slow because they want to be slow but not because people call a lot. :(

 but it does make people cause undo traffic for those who must get through. There is no reason for anyone to be calling USCIS until after 7 months or even 8. If you look at everyone's timeline the standard processing time is 7-8 months. Why do some think that there is a need to call USCIS only to get disappointed with the obvious answer. I have been here for years and when you get your visa, if you just take a moment to reflect, you should draw the conclusion that there just really wasn't a need for "me" to get myself all tied into a bundle over this.

@Suny & LeLe I take my hat off to you. You seem to be looking at this whole process with a very open mind and from your posts, I see you look at this from the outside looking in. In other words you are looking at the big picture. You have been taking everything in when going down a path like this one and you make comments that are very realistic. YOU GET IT! :thumbs:Congratulations.

Hey,

Long time lurker here, my NOA1 is January 4th. I would like to inform everyone the casetracker app is sort of being updated again. I did a few mini scans and the app shows approvals dated 6/29/2018, there wasn't anything dated this week.

I saw 8 cases touched from December 27th but nothing from the 28th or 29th. For me it is great news because it confirms they were close to January last Friday.

this is great news! hopefully it will start up dating again

Well we kinda know that can't be right, there were approvals from Dec 29 already...also 490 out of 3000 still isn't too promising I feel like
